The thought turning into an idea... The idea turning into planning... planning turning into demos... Demos turning into songs.... songs creating an album...<br /><br />Well you get the idea...<br /><br />We are working on our last song "Shine". This track was demo-ed a year and a half ago. So we know the direction we are taking with it....<br /><br />When time permits for Jean Michel, he will lay down the vocals for the track. There is still a few odds and ends to be tweaked with a few of the other tracks but, we hope to have everything ready for mastering in July. The concept is about believing in yourself and realizing that we have to validate ourselves rather than depend on others for it. Hints the phrase "Hand Held Halo".</span></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffffff;">Sometime last year, I wrote the lyrics for the song in like 10 minutes on a napkin while eating my lunch. It was one of those songs that really came together quickly… i knew i had something immediately....... I posted the lyrics with the song on our myspace page so you can follow... </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffffff;">I had a lot of fun with the overall creation of this track… JM really came through with some very great vocals… His vocal arrangements were perfect! We continued to play around with ideas and experiment with the basic composition a bit. I also did some spoken word/ vocoded parts which was a first for us to have JM and I together on the same track.
